Location: Witney
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Reporting to: Senior Management
About the Role:
On behalf of our client, a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturer, we are looking to appoint an experienced Production & Scheduling Coordinator to support their growing operations team. This is a key role, focused on ensuring production schedules are met, resources are effectively allocated, and communication between departments remains clear and consistent.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in production planning who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a talent for organisation and collaboration.
Main Responsibilities:

Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed production schedules in line with customer requirements and company objectives. Work closely with departments including Sales, Procurement, Design, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth execution.

Interdepartmental Liaison: Maintain clear and proactive communication across teams to synchronise planning efforts, resolve scheduling issues, and provide status updates.

Order Review & Delivery Commitments: Assess incoming sales orders and confirm feasible delivery dates. Support in tracking project and product contracts, and assist with cost estimation.

Repairs Scheduling: Approve and plan customer repair work, ensuring capacity and turnaround times are well managed.

Issue Resolution: Identify potential delays or bottlenecks in production and implement corrective actions to maintain workflow efficiency.

Reporting: Compile and analyse reports on production performance, providing insights to help drive improvements.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at streamlining operations, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality.
What We’re Looking For:

Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.

Experience: 2–3 years’ experience in a similar production planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with planning systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP software is highly advantageous.

Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data, forecast accurately, and make informed decisions to support production efficiency.

Process Knowledge: Familiar with manufacturing processes and lean/continuous improvement methodologies.

Communication: Clear and confident communicator, capable of building strong working relationships across multiple departments.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and organisation when managing schedules and monitoring output.

The role:
The successful Project Manager/Product Development Lead will join an innovative multi-disciplined engineering team and will need to have an engineering background in product development who is eager to work across the entire full product lifecycle. The Project Manager/Product Development Lead role is heavily towards project management (strategy, resource assignment, reporting etc.) with particularly close interfacing with an OEM business customer who the company are developing a product for – the customer is leaning heavily on the company’s guidance and leadership and the project is dynamic so this will need a friendly but confident character with a collaborative style.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Electronics related subject, with experience in product development project management.
- 5-7+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in a product development environment (ideally on a medical device)
- Demonstrated project management experience leading a design engineering team and managing project scope, schedule and ideally budget.
- Excellent organisational skills, interpersonal skills, and strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. The candidate should be comfortable to lead meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- The candidate will have a passionate attitude to champion the project, work across departments and actively drive the project from initiation to completion.
- The role would suit a motivated self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to problem solve, develop solutions and escalate issues as needed.
Desirable nice to have skills:
- Experience of working within the Medical Devices (preferred), pharmaceuticals or other highly regulated sectors are highly desirable, as is a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and IEC 60601.
- Formally Project Management trained, such as Prince 2 Practitioner or PMP qualified
- Driving license and ability for infrequent travel

ROLE: Electronic Repair Technician
LOCATION: Gloucestershire
SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Electronic Repair Technician to join a growing engineering and production team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electronic assembly, diagnostics, and repair—particularly at the PCB level. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies and components to a high standard. Supervisory experience is desirable, as there may be opportunities to support and guide junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and test electronic components, PCBs, and full product assemblies
- Carry out fault-finding to component level using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
- Perform PCB repairs, including component removal, rework, and surface mount soldering
- Assemble and wire electrical and electronic units according to engineering drawings and technical instructions
- Complete rework and upgrades on returned or defective units
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, tests, and part replacements
- Ensure all repairs are carried out to company and industry quality standards
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the repair process
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in electronic assembly and repair, ideally in a production or service environment
- Strong soldering skills (through-hole and surface mount)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with hand tools and electronic testing equipment
- High attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable:
- Supervisory or team leader experience in a repair or assembly environment
- Experience working to IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)
- Knowledge of ESD practices and safe handling of electronic components
- Background in aerospace, defence, telecoms, or industrial electronics is a plus
