Job Type: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and site equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault diagnosis and repair (mechanical and/or electrical)
- Support senior engineers with installations, upgrades, and project work
- Work independently on maintenance tasks
- Reduce downtime by ensuring efficient and effective repairs
- Follow health & safety procedures and maintain accurate maintenance records
About You:
- Experience in maintenance engineering OR a strong interest/qualification in engineering
- Mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled background preferred
- Strong willingness to learn and develop hands-on skills
- Good problem-solving and practical mindset
- Able to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
- Engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
