Production & Operational Performance

  • Ensure production schedules are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
  • Coordinate tooling changes, machine setups and production changeovers.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including output, downtime, efficiency and scrap levels.
  • Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions to minimise disruption.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and tooling departments to maximise machine availability.
  • Support the achievement of productivity and operational improvement targets.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure components are manufactured to customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Support first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
  • Work with the Quality team to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Promote a right-first-time manufacturing culture.

Health & Safety

  • Lead by example in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ensure machinery is operated in accordance with safety procedures and company policies.
  • Conduct routine safety checks and encourage reporting of hazards and near misses.
  • Support accident investigations and implementation of preventative measures.
  • Promote excellent housekeeping standards throughout the production area.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive improvements in efficiency, quality and productivity.
  • Support lean manufacturing and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Encourage employee involvement in process improvement activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, machine utilisation and production performance.

Candidate Requirements
