Job Title: Lead Engineer 

Location: Hull

Salary: £40,000-45,000

Seeking an experienced Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for driving engineering performance and supporting site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of engineers to ensure high performance and engagement
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and engineering activities across the site
• Plan and deliver preventative and reactive maintenance schedules
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
• Support and manage engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
• Work closely with production and operations teams to minimise downtime

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong engineering background (mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled)
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or equivalent)
