JOB – CNC Machinist

 

LOCATION – Petersfield, Hampshire

 

TERM- Permanent

 

SALARY - £25,000-£30,000, dependent on experience

 

My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for an CNC Machinist to join their team in Petersfield on a permanent basis.

The CNC Machinist will ideally have the following attributes:

• Previous experience working as a CNC Operator / Machinist / Setter
• Ideally have some experience with or knowledge of programming
• Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing 
• Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components
• Be able to read from engineering drawings
• Have previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environment
• Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team

 

The CNC Machinist role will involve:

• Working with CNC machinery and producing plastics
• Running multiple machines – small to medium batch work
• Inspecting components as required
• CNC Milling or Turning working with varied controls
• Reading from engineering drawings
• Adhering to company H&S requirements
