ROLE- Installation Engineer

 

LOCATION- Southwest (lots of the work will be based around Devon/Cornwall area)

 

TERM- Permanent

 

SALARY- £25,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience

 

My client designs and manufactures products and systems within the Renewable Energy sector. They are looking for an Installation Engineer to join their team in Cornwall on a permanent basis.

 

The Installation Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar field-based Installation, Servicing or Commissioning role 
• Experience working in construction, renewables or with related equipment
• Hands-on experience with maintenance, installation, commissioning, servicing and repair
• Strong experience with assembly and build
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Team player who is passionate about their work
• Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
• Happy to travel on a field basis and work alone
• Holds a full UK driving licence

 

The Installation Engineer role will involve:

• Travelling to customer sites across the UK to service, maintain and install equipment
• Testing and repairing equipment to be dispatched
• Training customers on how to use their equipment  
• Developing strong relationships with customers
• Working in a small multi-disciplinary team
