Job Title: Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer
Location: Conwy, North Wales
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

An established and hugely successful Global High Technology Engineering company based in Conwy (North Wales) who design and develop top class engineering products and advanced innovate technology worldwide for niche industries have a new opening to hire a brand new Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer to join the innovative multi disciplined engineering team.
Salary and hybrid working on offer:
The salary on offer for the Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum. Hybrid working of 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH is available.
The role:
The Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer will join an innovative multidisciplined engineering team of 11 professionals that consists of Electronics, Software, Mechanical & Production. The Senior Embedded Electronics Engineer will have an exciting hands-on role where the work will be varied with a wide variety of exciting technologies that includes work being diverse, ranging from the design of Electronics Hardware, PCB Design, Embedded Software, DSP, across the full product design lifecycle to bring products through to market from scratch.
Key Skills:
- 5-10+ years industry experience
- Experience in the full product design lifecycle – start to finish of products
- Design and analyse electronic circuits, with a focus on both analogue and digital components, including amplifiers, filters, oscillators, and power supplies
- PCB Design & Schematic Capture
- Experience of Embedded C, C++, Python
- Experience of FPGA Design – VHDL
- Experience of microcontrollers & microprocessors
- Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, CAN etc
- Knowledge & experience of digital signal processing (DSP) techniques for applications like audio, image, or sensor data
- Experience of Design for Manufacture and Assembly
- Experience of product safety and compliance – CE Marking, UKCA, EMC, EMI
- Practical skills – Fault finding, troubleshooting, debugging, prototype assembly and modification
- Experience of high temperature electronics, wireline borehole logging – huge bonus
- Excellent communication, presentation & report writing skills
- Strong team working ethics with the ability to work individually when required
- Requires good listening, strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical matters in lay terms
- Must have initiative, self-motivation and the confidence to make decisions
