ROLE - Technical Manager
LOCATION – Sale
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £45,000 - £55,000 per annum dependant on experience (please advise)
My innovative engineering client is looking to take on a Technical Manager, on a permanent basis, in the Sale area.
Background:
- Hold a minimum qualification of HND in Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related discipline.
- Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate exceptional planning and organizational abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Hardworking and conscientious, with a talent for motivating and supporting others, and a strong commitment to contributing as part of the Senior Management team.
- Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure.
- Exhibit strong initiative, enthusiasm, and the ability to lead by example.
The Technical Manager role will involve:
- Provide technical advice and support to all departments across business processes.
- Oversee technical management of wax shell and foundry operations.
- Design and procure tooling for production needs.
- Manage and coordinate projects to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Oversee the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, including tooling, sample production, and delivery schedules.
- Drive technical development efforts for new products.
- Prepare and deliver Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) reports, as well as weekly and monthly scrap and rework analyses.
- Conduct trend analysis and provide ongoing technical support.
