ROLE- Product Design Engineer
LOCATION- West London
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £30,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Premier Engineering are currently recruiting for a Product Design Engineer to join a growing company in West London.
The role will involve taking projects from initial concept through to manufacture. You will be using Creo and designing electro-mechanical products.
Ideally we would like you to:
• Be skilled in using 3D CAD software (Creo or strong SolidWorks skills)
• have at least 2 years’ experience in a Product Design position would be idea
• Be able to create models / prototypes
• Be technically minded with a head for problem solving
• Have an understanding of design for manufacture
• Have a design related degree (Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering etc.)
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
• Develop your ideas from concept to production
• Sketch ideas and develop concepts
• Create models/prototypes
• Do market research, work with clients and listen to their feedback
• Use all manufacturing processes
