Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Location: Bedford, UK
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Assembler to join our growing team in Bedford. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and a passion for precision work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies following detailed instructions and technical drawings.
• Perform quality checks on parts to ensure they meet the required specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble parts and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with health and safety standards.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler or in a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical diagrams.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques and standards.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems (desirable but not essential).
