Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Engineer to join our team in Welwyn Garden City. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales and supporting our engineering department.

As a Junior Sales Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage potential clients, promoting our engineering solutions and services. You will utilize your knowledge of mechanical engineering to effectively communicate the benefits and value of our products to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and establish relationships with potential clients in the mechanical engineering sector.
• Promote and sell our engineering solutions and services to clients.
• Act as a bridge between the engineering department and clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of client requirements.
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients, addressing any inquiries or issues they may have.
• Participate in sales meetings, conferences, and exhibitions to expand business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to stay updated on product developments and improvements.
• Prepare and present sales reports to upper management, analyzing sales performance and suggesting strategies for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience in a sales or customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
• An understanding of mechanical engineering principles and applications.
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
