About the Role:
As a Product Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the company’s products meet all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain documentation such as compliance reports, technical files, and certificates.

Ideal Candidate:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

Proven experience in product compliance or regulatory affairs, ideally within the electronics or manufacturing sector.

Strong understanding of industry standards such as CE marking, RoHS, WEEE, EMC, and safety regulations.

Experience working with external bodies (e.g., Notified Bodies) for product certifications and regulatory compliance.

ROLE- Mechanical Development Engineer
LOCATION- South Oxfordshire
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £35,000- £42,000 per annum plus benefits (dependent on experience)
My client works within the engineering manufacturing sector, and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Development Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the South Oxfordshire area.
The Mechanical Development Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Degree qualified or the equivalent in Mechanical Engineering such as HND/ HND/ NVQ
- 2 years’ or more experience working in a similar hands on Mechanical Design / Development / Manufacturing position within an engineering manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with using 3D CAD; ideally SolidWorks but other software will be considered
- Have the ability to select the correct engineering components and materials
- Experience of DFM
- Previous experience of working with machine assemblies, test rigs or precision tooling would be desirable
- Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills

The Mechanical Development Engineer role will involve:

The Project Planning Specialist will ideally have the following attributes:
- BEng/ BSc qualification or similar in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- Approx. 5 or more years of experience in a similar Project Planning / Project Manager role
- Previous experience working in a product environment (mechanical, software, hardware, service etc.)
