SALARY- Up to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
A great company, the UK’s largest in their field, is looking to bring on a Quality Engineer to come and join their team. The ideal candidate will champion product & process quality whilst providing support to Manufacturing facility to help achieve quality objectives and reduce COPQ.
The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- A Quality/Engineering or similar Degree / HNC / NVQ or equivalent work based experience.
- Experience and knowledge of Lean measurement tools such as 8D, 5Why’s, Ishikawa, DMAIC, Internal Auditing etc.
- Knowledge or experience in with PPAP, ISIR and Supplier Quality Assessments
- Ability to use own initiative and work as a team when needed.
- Relevant experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment would be beneficial but not essential.
- Proficient with use of Microsoft packages
- Full Driving License
The Quality Engineer role will involve:
- Carry out Root Cause Analysis and report activities.
- Use of PPAP and coordinating the completion within the business.
- Review how effective supplier corrective actions are and support the relevant team in the analysis of Quality Inspection.
- Provide support in key NPI projects whilst ensuring Quality conformance.
- Carry out supplier Quality improvement activities.
- Continually look for ways to improve processes and procedures to attain the greatest levels of quality and efficiency (continuous improvement).
- Ensure that ISO9001 requirements are being met across the business.
- Facilitate the successful completion of the internal auditing programme.
- Reduce the cost of poor Quality and meet the Quality standards by providing support within the Manufacturing facility.

ROLE – Continuous Improvement Engineer
LOCATION – Surrey
TERM – Permanent
SALARY - £35,000 - £45,000 per annum dependant on experience
I’m working with a great client of mine who work within the manufacturing industry and they are on the lookout for a Continuous Improvement Engineer on a permanent basis, in the Surrey area.
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will ideally have the following:
- Degree, HND Qualification in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical subject
- Proven experience in sustaining engineering, preferably within the consumer products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong understanding of product design, manufacturing and injection moulding processes, and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
The Continuous Improvement Engineer role will involve:
- Leading engineering efforts across the business, collaborating with various departments
- Implementing any process improvements that are identified
- Design and Documentation Management
- Quality and Operational Support
- Product Improvement and Cost Management
- Working as part of a cross-functional team
- Technical Skills and Design (CAD)

JOB – Quality Assurance Engineer
LOCATION - Poole
TERM - Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
A new opportunity has arisen to join a globally recognized precision engineering company. The company is looking for Quality Engineer to join their new and expanding team.
Ideally the Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Experience in conducting internal audits and supplier audits
- Experience in working with problem solving methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, Ishikawa, 5Why’s etc.
- Excellent communicator with experience in presenting to all levels of a business including management and shop-floor employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to be able to manage own time and deliverables effectively.
- A strong desire to progress and succeed.
- Demonstrable positive attitude and ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Good usage and knowledge of ISO14001, ISO45001, ASME ‘N’ & ‘NPT’, PED, ATEX and Functional Safety would be beneficial but not essential.
- Experience in working with APQP related elements such as PPAP, Control Plans, DFMEA, PFMEA would be beneficial but not essential.
- Mechanical Engineering background would be preferred.
- Knowledge of NDE testing – formal training may be provided if not qualified.
- NDE / PCN Level 2 Qualified would be beneficial but not essential.
The Quality Assurance role will involve:
- Carry out internal audits in accordance with the internal audit plan.
- Be involved in investigations into issues raised by the shop floor ensuring a clear root cause has been identified and effective corrective actions are implemented by using effective problem-solving tools such as 8D, DMAIC, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys.
- Support the Quality department in the ongoing upkeep and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) to maintain compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and other subscribed requirements.
- Support the Quality Assurance team during customer and regulatory audits and assessments in all aspects of the IMS.
- Create and manage high-value customer documentation packs which require approval by the high-value customer prior to product shipment.
- Carry out continuous improvement activities to reduce the cost of poor quality whilst also supporting the Quality team.

ROLE - Quality Manager
LOCATION – Suffolk

SALARY - £40,000 - £55,000 per annum dependant on experience
I’m working with a leading manufacturing company, working across various industries such as medical & aerospace, they are currently looking for a Quality Manager to join the team.
The Quality Manager Engineer will ideally have the following:
- Degree, HND Qualification in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical subject
- Previous quality manager experience, ideally in a manufacturing role.
- Fabrication / manufacturing experience
- Experience of managing and motivating a small team
- Knowledge and experience of ISO9001 requirements & processes
- Technical ability to problem solve and find solutions to technical problems in a live production environment, often to tight deadlines
- Ability to discuss technical issues with a professional manner in a commercial setting
- Ability to read technical drawings
The Quality Assurance Engineer role will involve:
- Lead on all quality related issues both internal & external
- Line manage quality team
- Main liaison between the company and the customer on quality concerns & compliance.
- Analyse and review customer performance metrics / targets and implement processes and procedures to ensure a positive performance against these metrics
- Lead on the development & enforcement of the firms quality management system ISO9001, including audit requirements.
- Run the monthly quality meetings and associated workshops to drive quality awareness through the business
- Lead on customer audits.

My client is a specialist manufacturer within the Instrumentation sector. They are looking for a Senior/Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Poole on a permanent basis.
The Lead Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- BSc / BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 5 or more years of industry experience working in similar Mechanical or Design role
- Ideally have some experience in a process industry, Fluid, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Aerospace or similar
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, SPM, valves, pumps, actuators, pneumatics, gauges, piping etc

JOB – Product Assurance Engineer / Manager
LOCATION – Stevenage
TERM - Permanent
SALARY – £50,000 - £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are looking for a Product Assurance Manager / Engineer on a permanent basis in the Stevenage area with experience in the Aerospace, Defence or Space / Satellite Industry. Your main duties will include overseeing the Quality and Product Assurance for both manufacturing and design processes across the business to ensure compliance and quality.
The Product Assurance Manager / Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Qualified in a relevant Engineering / Manufacturing Degree with time served as an Engineer.
- Working experience of a Quality / Product Assurance position.
- Previous experience working with High Quality manufacturing environment (aerospace, defence, satellite, space or similar)
- Good knowledge of product compliance, regulatory compliance and other similar procedures.
- Have the ability to communicate with other members of staff and management.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as team.
- Experience in a project led design environment – beneficial.
- Experience with electronics manufacturing and design – advantageous but not essential.
The main duties of the Product Assurance Manager / Engineer role will involve:
- Overseeing Quality and Product assurance responsibilities within the engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Manager quality throughout the entire product life cycle.
- Check appropriate documentation and procedures for product, processes and data
- Providing support to the design team on best practices to ensure quality.
- Liaising with the Management Systems Manager and Process Owners, advising on where Product Assurance can be improved.
