Quality Engineer – Manufacturing
Location: Dukinfield
Salary: £38,000

 

The Role
As the Quality Engineer, you will support all quality activities across the manufacturing process, ensuring products meet customer, regulatory and internal standards. You will work closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to maintain robust quality systems and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions

• Support internal and external audits, maintaining ISO/AS quality standards

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing

• Develop and update quality documentation, SOPs and work instructions

• Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality concerns

• Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement

• Provide shop floor support and guidance to ensure adherence to quality processes

About You

• Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or similar quality role within manufacturing

• Strong understanding of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC and RCA

• Experience working to ISO 9001 or similar standards

• Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

• Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities

Production Engineer – Milton Keynes

Salary: £42,000–£45,000

 

The Role

You will act as a technical link between engineering and production, ensuring that manufacturing processes are robust, safe, and optimised for quality and output. Typical responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing production processes, tooling, and standard work.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across lean manufacturing, quality, and throughput.
• Providing technical guidance to production teams and liaising closely with design and engineering.
• Supporting new product introductions, including process validation and documentation.
• Investigating root causes of manufacturing issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and internal procedures.

 

About You

We are looking for a proactive engineer with strong problem-solving skills and experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. You should bring:

• A background in Production, Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven experience improving production processes and supporting CI initiatives.
• Knowledge of lean tools and techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach.

Production Technician - £28,000 - £37,000

 

 Skills you require: 

- Time served experience

- IPC 610/620 qualifications

- J-Std qualification

- Ability to interpret complex schematics and engineering drawings

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

 

What you would be doing: 

- Reworking and repairing of PCBs

- Integrating LRUs and sub systems

- Assembling cable assemblies and terminating military-grade connectors

- Terminating cable assemblies into various racks

- Working with various cable types such as RF, data and power

- Carrying out heavy builds for larger mechanical assemblies

- Using inspection and measuring equipment

- Assembling moving components

- Carrying out mechanical rack assembly

- Identifying potential improvements to manufacturing methods
