SALARY - £35,000 - £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience
My client designs and manufactures specialist machinery and precision parts. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Dorset on a permanent basis.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a Servicing role
Experience working with special purpose machinery
Hands-on knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic equipment
Strong experience with assembly and machine build
Great communication and customer service skills
Team player who is passionate about their work
Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
Happy to travel on a field basis across the UK
Holds a full UK driving licence
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
Travelling to customer sites across the UK to service, commission and calibrate machinery
Testing and repairing equipment to be dispatched
Training customers on how to use their machinery
Around 10% of work at the company based and 90% servicing
Developing strong relationships with customers
Working in a small multi-disciplinary team
