Salary Range: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Draughtsman to join our team in our Leicester office.

Job Description:

As a Draughtsman, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our projects. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Creating detailed technical drawings and plans, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Reviewing architectural plans and coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Producing accurate quantity take-offs and material schedules for project estimation and budgeting purposes.
• Conducting site visits and surveys to gather necessary data for drawing creation and modification.
• Collaborating with the project team to identify and resolve design issues or discrepancies.
• Maintaining an organized and accurate documentation system to track revisions, changes, and project progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Draughtsman or similar role.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD.
• Strong technical drawing and drafting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good knowledge of construction and building regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
