JOB – Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
LOCATION – Ipswich
TERM- Permanent
SHIFT PATTERN – Rotating on a Panama shift pattern 2 / 2 / 3
SALARY - £40,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience
My client is a manufacturer in the Food & Drink industry. They are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Ipswich on a permanent basis.
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
- Come from a Mechanical or Electrical background
- Ideally be experienced working on Plant equipment and Machinery
- Able to work safely and methodically
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team
- A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role will involve:
- Working in a team to improve and maintain manufacturing machinery & Plant equipment
- Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and building maintenance
- PPM and breakdown avoidance
- Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
- Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
- Working with others and being an excellent team player
