JOB – EC&I Technician

 

LOCATION – Liverpool

 

TERM- Permanent

 

SALARY - £35,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience  

 

My client is a specialist manufacturer within the Instrumentation sector. They are looking for a EC&I Technician to join their team in Liverpool on a permanent basis.

 

The Electrical Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

• NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in Electrical /Electronic Engineering or similar
• Experience working on PLC’s
• Control systems experience
• Experienced building electrical harnesses
• Hands-on electrical skillset – soldering, crimping, wiring etc.

• Understanding of technical drawings and control panels

• Proactive, flexible and able to excel within a team
• Able to work to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills

 

The Electrical Technician role will involve:

• Building, installing and connecting electrical control systems, panels, machinery
• Working to electrical assembly drawings
• Meeting project specifications and timelines

• Providing electrical expertise for other technicians
• Working closely with others in the technical assembly team

• Ensuring documentation and company procedures are properly met
• Working carefully to meet Health & Safety standards
