JOB- Lead Project Engineer

 

LOCATION- Llandudno

 

TERM- Permanent

 

SALARY- Dependent on experience (please advise what you’re looking for)

 

My client manufactures bespoke equipment products for multiple industries. They are looking for a Lead Project Engineer to join their team in Llandudno on a permanent basis. 

 

The Lead Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• HND/ Degree qualified in Engineering / a similar STEM subject
• 4 or more years’ experience in Senior Project Engineering from working in a similar role or environment
• Experience with R&D
• Experience managing and leading teams of Engineers
• Experienced working in a highly regulated industry
• Proficient with using MS Office
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Flexible to travel as part of the role as required
• Engaged, enthusiastic and proactive with a systematic approach to work
• Able to work well alone as well as in a team

 

The Lead Project Engineer role will involve:

• As a hands-on Project Engineer you will be taking designs and implementing them
• Leading teams on projects
• Technical assessment, analysis and review of full lifecycle projects
• Scheduling, cost and quality control
• Line managing direct reports
• Mentoring others
• R&D of new projects and products
• Communicating with customers to ensure specifications are met
• Supporting the Project Manager
• Involved in purchasing for projects and chasing suppliers as and when required
• Preparing the required project related documentation & drawings
