JOB- Internal Sales Engineer

LOCATION- South Oxfordshire

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £35,000 - £42,000 per annum dependent on relevant experience

My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on an Internal Sales Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the South Oxfordshire area.

The Internal Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ BTEC qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written; to work well over the phone
• Be able to work well individually as well as a team
• Previous experience working in a similar technical engineering, technical sales or manufacturing environment would be ideal
• Engineering knowledge such as technical sales, gears, power, machines etc.
• Be proficient with using MS Office applications
• CRM systems / SAP knowledge would be an advantage
• Training will give on both the product and sales side of things
• A Full UK Driving Licence would be beneficial but not essential

The Internal Sales Engineer role will involve:

• Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager
• Working with customers providing technical advice and customer service
• Ensuring sales requirements match customers’ needs
• Preparing quotations as required
• Working over the phone with customers’
• Helping to develop sales to both new and existing customers’ offering the correct solutions
• Providing support to the external sales team with commercial support
• Selecting the appropriate products
• Working with the company CRM system

JOB- Product Support Engineer

LOCATION- South Oxfordshire

SALARY- £35,000 - £45,000 per annum dependent on relevant experience

My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on a Product Support Engineer with an Electronics / Mechatronics bias, on a permanent basis, in the South Oxfordshire area.

The Product Support Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ BTEC/Degree qualified or similar in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
• Have some form of industry experience in a technical role after your studies too - previous experience working in a similar technical engineering, technical sales, technical support or manufacturing environment would be ideal
• Knowledge of inverters, motion controllers, or similar is needed – further training will be provided
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written; to work well over the phone
• Be able to work well individually as well as a team
• Be proficient with using MS Office applications
• CRM systems / SAP knowledge would be an advantage but isn’t essential
• A Full UK Driving Licence would be essential for attending customer sites so flexibility to travel occasionally is needed too

The Product Support Engineer role will involve:

• Providing technical support to customers with regards to company products
• You will be involved pre-sales on the application side of things
• And also after-sales with troubleshooting issues
• Providing timely technical assistance over the phone, email and in person
• Working with the company CRM system
• Working closely with different company departments to help with product improvements
• Always driving continuous improvement
• Delivering technical training sessions when required

Business Development Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £100,000

Location: Birmingham

Hybrid: In the office twice a week

 

About the Role

The company are medium sized, luxury packaging organisation and the role is based in Birmingham.

The position is hybrid working, which will require you to come into the office twice a week. The other three days will be either working from home or visiting client sites.

 

The salary for this role is fairly open and flexible, the basic will range from £45,000 to £100,000 per annum.

 

Commission is based on a monthly target, anything over target is 2% comms. With the current growth you are likely to be seeing anywhere from an additional 2k – 5k each month.

We are ideally looking for someone who is looking to achieve being a Managing Director within the next 12 – 18months.

 

 

Skills Required

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
• Ability to Thrive Under Pressure working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining focus on delivering results.
• Strong ability to negotiate and close deals while keeping customer satisfaction and quality of service at the forefront.
• Technical knowledge of foiling/embossing/laminates, Sold packaging finishing solutions.

 

This position best suits an established sales person with excellent customer skills, whose sales technique is to always maximise profit and not by cutting costs.

 

Must have a Full UK Driving License for ease visiting clients.
